At Pyramid Logistics, we are always looking for ways to help our local communities.  Because we have a fleet of trucks and experienced drivers, we know that one way we can help others was by making critical deliveries for worthy causes.  With this in mind, helping The Father’s House ministry by transporting cargo for their monthly food drive made sense.

Headed by pastors Tim Felker and Matt Swift, The Father’s House provides spiritual refreshment and guidance to the people of Orange County.  However, they do not stop at the spiritual; they also provide physical refreshment in the form of a food distribution program that provides produce and other items to local residents in need.

According to Pastor Tim Felker, this year’s food drive has provided nearly 100,000 pounds of produce to more than 2,700 people in 2015.  Some months have seen as many as 400 people in line to receive food from this service.  The food bank distribution occurs on the second Wednesday of every month; for more information, see https://fathershouseoc.org/feeding-5000/.

According to Pastor Tim, the trucking services provided by Pyramid Logistics were very helpful in accomplishing the goal of getting the food to the people who need it.  Pastor Tim wrote us, “We have heard countless stories of how this food gets them through the month and they are forever grateful. Thank you again for allowing us to bless the community with your support. You too have made a profound impact on those around us.”

Pyramid Logistics has enjoyed working with Pastor Tim and the members of The Father’s House food program, and we look forward to another year of service and helping those in the community by transporting fresh food and produce where it is needed most!
