National Association of Broadcasters or NAB: This is the biggest show of the year for the Broadcast industry. The event begins April 6thin Las Vegas and runs through the 11th. As the NAB says, “NAB Show is where global visionaries convene to bring content to life in new and exciting ways.” We agree. Walking around this convention is like being in a super-sized TV control room. The new technology at this show is amazing. We’ve been working with partners at this show for years. Fire Department Instructor’s Conference or FDIC: 34,000 Firefighters and rescue personnel from around the world will descend on the Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium beginning April 8thto learn new life-saving techniques and learn about new tools in a robust five-day event. This is one of the biggest global trade shows for rescue teams. Some of the demonstrations they do here are really incredible. International Security Conference and Exhibition or ISC West: This is the largest converged security trade show in the country. Everything from drone technology and biometrics to robotics and smart home, the future in security and surveillance can be found here. The show runs at the Sands Expo in Las Vegas from April 9 through April 12. If you are networking with the event, you can use the #ISCWEST hashtag.
Coverings:This event bills itself as the global tile and stone experience and for 30 years has welcomed guests from around the world. This year, the event takes place in Orlando, Florida from April 9 through April 12. This is always a great show as we see what’s new in the design, contractor, and architecture worlds. International Sign Association’s ISA Sign Expo: Last but certainly not least is ISA Sign Expo. For more than 70 years, leaders in the graphics, signage, print and visual communications have attended this event. This year’s event runs April 24 through 26 and will be held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.
