How Pyramid Logistics Used its Expertise

On New Year’s Day 2023 and in record time, Pyramid Logistics safely delivered nearly 100 all-electric scooters for American Honda ahead of the 134th Rose Parade the next day.

At around 4:00 a.m. on New Year’s morning, Pyramid Logistics took on the weighty task of delivering 90 electric Honda scooters from their corporate office in Torrance to the Tournament of Roses. A team of 12 logistics experts drove six 53-foot semi-trucks a distance of 35 miles to the Tournament House in Pasadena, California.

Thanks to special truck modifications inside the semi-trailers, such as the ability to double-deck motorcycles, large quantities of scooters could be delivered in a safe and sound manner. Each scooter was also secured by a trained motorcycle transport operator, and then double-checked before the trucks departed.

All 90 electric scooters were stored at Pasadena High School, just five miles from the Tournament House, for volunteers to conveniently ride straight to the parade.
